Who is Ana?
Well, in short, Ana is a consequence of the Big Bang. Like all of us, of course. Besides that, she is a Yoga Teacher, Sound Healer Gong Master with over 4000 hours of study and practice, and numerous certifications.

Ana teaches Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, Hatha Yoga, Khalsa Way Prenatal Yoga, Sound Healing, Mindfulness and various techniques of Breath Work and Meditation.

After a successful international career that included acting and dance, Ana found her way to yoga and rediscovered herself.
This journey might seem unusual. But, in fact, it is not.
In a way, dance is already a form of yoga since it allows you to get in touch with and express your body. And the same is true about acting, though from a different perspective. Acting is for your own self what dancing is for your body. It allows you to observe yourself from within, to learn more about yourself from the characters you play and to distance yourself from your ego. This journey has shaped her unique style of teaching – that of an Alchemist Yogi.

A crucial period in her personal journey started with her move to New York City, a 5 years life-changing experience that guided her on the yogic path. Upon discovering Kundalini Yoga, she found this particular practice to be the one that healed her from specific physical problems and emotional wounds, evidence that pushed her curiosity towards practicing and diving deeper into mastering the techniques.

Studying and practicing Kundalini Yoga led her from New York to Hawaii, Lisbon, London and Rome, teaching and working with people from all over the world.

World-leading teachers, Ana has studied with and been inspired by: Guru Dharam, Mahankirn Kaur Khalsa, Dr Joe Dispenza, Dr Jeffrey Thompson, Deborah Coehn, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Amanbir Joe Singh, Don Conreaux, Angelo & Katia Surinder, Guru Dev and Gurumarka Khalsa.

In 2017, guided by her teachers and her own inner compass, Ana followed her mission and dedication to this practice and returned to her native Romania, opening Pawan Studio of Yoga & Sound Healing in the heart of Bucharest. Sharing this ancient wisdom is a testament to her strong belief in the power of these techniques and an expression of gratitude for her own transformation.

Sat Nam Rasayan, Sound Healing and Kundalini Therapy Medicine are her most beloved techniques that she applies and works with her students in both classes and conferences. She uniquely blends her talent with the teachings she received and the thousands of hours of study, to find the best way to guide people towards identifying their own inner resources to evolve, recover and find balance inside out, enabling them to enjoy life in any circumstances.

She believes the greatest gift you can give someone is the gift of a skill and teaching people how to build caliber, tap into awareness, empathy and compassion is her mission.

Funky and full of energy, Ana is now splitting time between Amsterdam and Bucharest where she acts, dances, rocks the gong, teaches and travels for both yoga and acting, organising conferences, public speaking sessions and acting coaching.

Self-Awareness is the key word in Kundalini Yoga

The promise of this practice is that you will become more conscious about who you really are, and you will be able to reunite with your source. Kundalini Yoga unites all the yogic techniques, physical exercises, breathing techniques, mantras and meditation in each practice in order to bring you a sense of trueness and ecstasy enabling you to merge or “yoke” the universal Self.

Kundalini is an ancient practice dating back to the fifth century BC, described in the Upanishads, but the oral tradition of its sacred science goes even further with thousands of years back when the practice was to pass it along verbally from master to chosen disciple.

The Kundalini practice clears the inner duality, creates the power to deeply listen, cultivates the inner stillness and helps the practitioner to prosper bringing excellence in our daily life.
The Gong and its vibration are a very important part of the kundalini classes, completes the practice and soothes the nervous system.

Yogi Bhajan’s teachings do not rely on one technique alone, but on many, and is the combination of kriyas (sequence of exercises) and naad (sound current) that drives you on a personal experience toward a deeper awareness.

Each kriya if followed as taught will provide a certain steady progress leveraging the basic functions of the body and mind creating sustainable personal healing and growth.

The vibration and transformational sound of our symphonic gong is often played during our classes to deepen relaxation and meditation and to restore the nervous system.

Class info & basics

Every class begins with the Adi Mantra: Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo. This mantra opens the potential to relate to state of flowing creativity and higher consciousness.

Each class involves the use of physical asana, breath work, mantra, mudra, and deep meditation.

Although the sequence of exercises in each class are different - all the exercises work to align practitioners into a state of harmony.

All classes end with chanting the mantra Sat Nam which is to reaffirm your authentic self.
